Can't you see it's killing me?
Can’t you see it's killing me? presents a fiery landscape: a mottled, rust colored sky, a net of sinewy reeds and sparkling embers backdrops the foregrounding narrative. The dense foliage simultaneously exudes an alluring yet unsettling atmosphere, mirroring the duality of loving intentions when they are carried out by harmful action. Scenes feature interactive painted collages that emerge from the female experience and gaze, investigating themes of longing, anger, and betrayal. The exhibition presents a story for visitors to alter, building a new narrative in collaboration with the artist. The evolving process will serve as a vital exploration of the consequences of our actions and the ways in which we construct stories.
